    {Your vocabulary list will grow over time...}

    3 types of programming methods
    1) Sequence (From top down)
    2) Selection (Get user input and jump to suitable location)
    3) Repetition (Loops)

    Three steps of programming
    1) GUI (Graphical user interface)
    2) Code
    3) Link

    IBOutlet
    IBAction

An outlet has 2 conditions, can be viewable (Must be displaying something to the user), can be changed (Attributes can be changed).
(A button that does something, that is outlet)
An action gives a command to what happen e.g. after the button is clicked

    IB - Interface builder
    UI - User interface
    SDK - Software developer kit

    Safest fonts to use-
    (CHAT)
    Courier
    Helvetica
    Ariel
    Times New Roman

    2. List down any question(s) you have so that Mr Pong would be able to address it in the next lesson.

    No questions too easy :)

    3. What you like to know more?
Can embed video instead of picture? can use accelerometer for control?

The App development and the decorating of the app.

    2. Share 1-2 things you like about the training.

I liked the part where we take the parts of the app from the library and we put them in the interface builder.

    3. Highlight 1-2 things that you think could be further improved.

The putting of the codes and adding the brackets after the code.

    4. Would you like to carry on with the next level of programming workshops in the near future? Why?

No because I dont really like programming as it is a bit confusing.

  5. Term 4 Week 5: For REVIEW SESSION:

    1. Briefly describe what you have learnt in the 4 sessions of basic programming.

Basically, how to create a simple apple application.

    2. Share 1-2 things you like about the training.

    Learning new things. Exploring programming.

    3. Highlight 1-2 things that you think could be further improved.

    Time and trainer.

    4. Would you like to carry on with the next level of programming workshops in the near future? Why?

No.I think that programming is too complicated for me. :)

  6. 1. Briefly describe what you have learnt in the 4 sessions of basic programming.
I have learnt the use of many different syntax for many different uses. e.g Switching Views, math calculation and so on.

    2. Share 1-2 things you like about the training.
The teacher is easy to understand and patient. Things are explained with precision. Very professional.

    3. Highlight 1-2 things that you think could be further improved.
Maybe we can learn these syntaxes and have a homework to learn how to apply all of these syntax into different uses instead of just memorizing them.

    4. Would you like to carry on with the next level of programming workshops in the near future? Why?
Yes, of course. I want to get more exposure to other higher level syntax that we could use to create more better apps. e.g Accelerometers, Gyroscopes, Location Service, Push Notifications.

  7. 1. Briefly describe what you have learnt in the 4 sessions of basic programming.
I learnt how to make the computer use the amount in the text field to find out the answer, how to change the colour of the text and how to do a transition for the changing of pages

    2. Share 1-2 things you like about the training.
I like the creating of the BMI calculator because we can use it.

    3. Highlight 1-2 things that you think could be further improved.
We could learn more things like how to use other objects for the application.

    4. Would you like to carry on with the next level of programming workshops in the near future? Why?
Yes,because it is interesting and fun when we finally create our application and it works.

  16. I have learned to create simple/basic xcode projects with Code (IBOutlet, IBAction, UI..., etc), interface and links.

I liked creating programs of my choice and testing them.

I would like to learn more codes for other things (like animations, saving files, use accelerometer, other types of touches, games, etc).

Of course... We all want to be professionals or at least be able to create something that can be sold.
